Summer Reading 2023: All in the Neighborhood
Summer Reading is a fun and free reading program for all ages. Sign up at the Summer Reading Kickoff on June 10 from 10AM-12PM (or anytime after at the Library) and receive your free Summer Reading Kit. Read 25 hours/books/days and earn 1 charm for every 5 hours/books/days. For each charm, stop by the library for 1 ticket to vote for your favorite participating nonprofit. Don’t miss out on the fun weekly events and the End of Summer Reading Celebration on Aug 18 from 6-8PM!

SUMMER READING KICKOFF – SAT, JUNE 10, 10AM-12PM
Register and pick up your summer reading kit. Enjoy crafts, snacks, music, balloon animals, and
read to a goat!
STARGAZING WITH UW PLANETARIUM – THUR, JUNE 22, 8:30-10PM
Glow-in-the-dark games and activities along with stargazing. Chairs welcome. Rain date: July 13
MOVIES AT THE DRIVE-IN – THUR, JUNE 29, 1-3PM
Free movie at the ACPL drive-in. Painting activity and snacks. Movie starts at 1:15pm
BIKE PARADE & ZUMBA – MON, JULY 3, 10-11AM
Bike decorating, parade, & Zumba – all in the parking lot.
SUPER HEROES WITH LARAMIE PRINCESS PARTIES – TUES, JULY 11, 1-2PM

BOOK BABIES: Storytime with baby/toddler and their caregivers. We read board books, sing songs, chase bubbles, and have playtime. This program is for ages 1-3yrs. Tuesdays, 10-11am on June 13, 20, 27 and July 11, 18, 25
FAMILY STORYTIME: Join us in our ACPL children’s area for a fun, community member led storytime with stories and songs, followed by crafts! Storytellers range from artists to dentists. Saturdays, 10:30-11am on June 24 and July 1, 15, 22, 29
LEGO CLUB: School aged children use their imagination to build a Lego masterpiece. Saturdays, 11am-12pm on June 24 and July 1, 15, 22, 29
STORIES IN THE PARK: Join us for some sunshine, stories, and songs! Camp chairs/blankets/waterbottles/

TEST TUBE TUESDAYS: School aged kids will enjoy a new hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) activity each session. Tuesdays, 3:45-5pm on June 13, 27 and July 11, 25
YAK AROUND TOWN: YAK is a social club for tweens and teens, where they can hang out, play games, do crafts, and enjoy snacks. This summer, YAK will partner with the University of Wyoming Art Museum to focus on community art. Click here to download the YAK flyer for meeting locations.
