Tech Help Form
We have tech help available by appointment. Please fill out the form below.
Appointment sessions will last one hour with a maximum of five help sessions per person.
During a help session, the library CAN assist you with the following:
- Getting started – Using a mouse, learning to type, turning device on/off, navigating File Explorer, settings, installing/uninstalling, etc.
- Internet – Navigating webpages, favorites and bookmarks, searching effectively, the cloud, uploading/downloading, etc.
- Email – Signing up, navigating, sending emails, spam/phishing, online calendar, etc.
- Social Media – Signing up, navigating, online safety, etc.
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite – Word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
- Phones – Installing/uninstalling apps, FaceTime/Google Duo, Libby App, making calls, etc.
- Downloadable materials – Using Libby and hoopla for access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, movies, TV shows, music, and comics.
The library CANNOT assist you with the following:
- Filing taxes
- Completing job applications
- Starting an online business
- Creating a webpage
- Anything involving credit card numbers or social security numbers
- Coursework
